I worked with TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, Java, C#, Socket.io, and Sails.js to help develop the Captel application within my most recent position as a Software Engineer at Hamilton Telecommunications. I have created several full stack web applications with React and Ruby on Rails as seen within my projects below.

Hamilton Telecommunications

Software Engineer
  • Assisted development manager in developing the TypeScript and Angular based Captel product which was a Full Stack Web Application that allowed thousands of hearing impaired individuals to read live captioned conversations on a daily basis.
  • Helped develop C# and Java based mobile version of Captel application for Android and iOS.
  • Wrote and maintained code, and completed 40+ Jira tickets over several sprints which helped fix fullstack issues as well as Sails.js API issues.
  • Trained in-house software tester on how to use Mocha and Postman applications for software testing purposes.
  • Monitored and responded to any technical performance issues for related Captel software application issues.
  • Wrote reports, and conducted development tests.

Technical Support Engineer
  • Developed React and Express.js based support bot project which integrated customer Zendesk tickets with company Slack channels for an easier support team workflow experience.
  • Understood, reproduced, and resolved complicated technical issues that customers raised for their developer projects based in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, C#, Java, Ruby On Rails, PHP, Python, Wordpress, Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Listened to users’ needs, listened for recurring requests, and represented the users' voice in daily meetings with the Tier 2 and engineering teams to push client related Jira tickets forward for upcoming sprints.
  • Worked alongside solutions engineers to assist developer teams for big profile accounts such as Google, Walmart, Reddit, Atlassian, and Salesforce for smooth transitions towards software renewal cycles.
  • Dove into the related codebase, primarily written with NodeJS/TypeScript, to help pinpoint solutions.
  • Provided expert communication, and provided regular updates while solving users' problems in 50+ Zendesk tickets each week as well as responding to 30+ Intercom chat requests daily.
  • Contributed to writing customer documentation and related FAQs.

Customer Success Support Analyst
  • Developed and maintained PowerShell and Python 3 based webscraper project for an easier ResearchMonitor resource creation process which resulted in thousands of resources being created in minutes instead of two weeks created manually by hand.
  • Troubleshooted JS and jQuery issues for ResearchMonitor resource templates, and troubleshooted Angular issues for Quest instances.
  • Participated in JIRA based regression testing for latest product releases.
  • Developed SQL scripts to create and maintain new reports for ResearchMonitor's RMWeb.
  • Created internal and client-facing documentation for use on the Hubspot based TRG Screen Support Portal.
  • Answered 50+ support requests per week from lawyers and law librarians for multiple products via ZenDesk support tickets, and Zoom screen sharing calls.
  • Supported accounts for highly respected law firms such as Debevoise, Goodwin Procter, Latham & Watkins, and DLA Piper to ensure software renewal cycles.
  • Conducted training sessions with 20+ clients per session for ResearchMonitor, Quest, and ResearchHub products.

  • Maintained Quality team website for use by Quality and Production teams.
  • Utilized Manuscript bug tracking software to create and maintain Snapchat bug tickets for communication between Web Development and Production teams.
  • Executed product audits on over 700 randomized ads per week.
  • Determined QC error rate based on product module audits for weekly team meeting.
  • Communicated quality issues pertinent to other Production Teams.
  • Analyzed and presented data for QC Print Title List Audit using pivot tables, Excel statistics, and SQL queries.
